Not food made by removing time,
but food that uses time to save yours.

Simcook Gamjatang begins with broth simmered for half a day in a far-infrared cauldron, according to the product description provided. At home, you simply place the prepared components in a pot and cook until the potato is tender.

THE STORY

The key ingredient is not only bone. It is time.

Good gamjatang does not need seasoning that shouts over every ingredient. The broth becomes convincing when pork bone, greens, potato and perilla have enough time to come together.

Traditional Korean gamjatang served in an earthenware bowl
PARADOX
Made slowly so dinner can happen quickly

The broth receives the long preparation time first, reducing the work required in your kitchen.

HALF-DAY CAULDRON METHOD

A deep broth, tender pork and the comfort of a Korean family meal

Simcook Gamjatang is a ready-to-cook Korean pork bone soup containing cooked pork bones, seasoned pork bone broth with perilla seed powder, dried radish greens and potato. The supplied product description highlights a far-infrared cauldron process that simmers the broth for half a day.

It suits a cold evening, a comforting meal after a long day, or a shared table with family and friends. Serve it with rice, then use the remaining broth for fried rice to extend the meal without wasting its richest flavour.

  • Deep broth: Long-cooked pork bones create a savoury and substantial base.
  • Familiar Korean flavour: Perilla, fermented seasoning and chilli create nutty warmth rather than heat alone.
  • Simple finish: Place the components in a pot and cook until the potato is fully tender.

TASTE ARCHITECTURE

Depth comes from understanding ingredients over time

Fast preparation can be convenient, but deep broth is difficult to imitate. Simcook invests the long cooking time first, leaving the customer with a short finishing process.

Broth rushed into flavour

A short cook can make the first hit of seasoning feel stronger than the ingredients.
Meat and broth may feel separate rather than balanced in the same spoonful.
Starting from raw bones at home requires cleaning, blanching and many hours of cooking.
VS

Broth built through time

The savoury pork base and the sweetness of vegetables connect naturally in the broth.
Perilla, fermented seasoning and chilli create a rounded, nutty finish.
The broth receives the long work; the customer completes dinner with a simple boil.
WHAT IS INSIDE

Each ingredient has a clear job

Gamjatang is not a one-ingredient dish. Pork bone, potato, dried greens, perilla and seasoned broth work like a small team, each adding flavour, texture or balance.

01

Cooked pork backbone

The centre of the soup. Long cooking develops a savoury broth while the meat provides satisfying protein and the unmistakable character of gamjatang.

Savoury baseProteinMain ingredient
02

Dried radish greens

The greens absorb broth and become tender, adding fibre, vegetable flavour and the homely texture associated with Korean pork bone soup.

FibreVegetable flavourTender texture
03

Potato

Potato softens the chilli warmth, adds a fluffy texture and makes the meal more filling. Its tenderness is also the practical sign that cooking is complete.

04

Perilla seed powder

Perilla contributes the nutty aroma and body that distinguishes gamjatang from an ordinary spicy soup. It creates a deeper finish without relying only on heat.

05

Seasoned pork bone broth

A prepared Korean-style broth establishes the savoury, gently spicy direction of the dish. The product information states that perilla powder is included.

10 CONTENT POINTS

Ten clear reasons to choose it, without exaggeration

The page explains flavour, convenience, serving occasions, nutrition and sensible cautions in language that is easy for every age group to understand.

01

1. Broth with half-day depth

The goal is not a dark broth created only by stronger seasoning. The long simmer develops a savoury base that feels rich at first and rounded at the finish.

BrothCauldronDepth
02

2. A meal kit that buys time honestly

A meal kit saves time, but a good one does not pretend flavour needs no time. Simcook invests the slow work first so the customer can spend less time at the stove.

ConvenienceTime savingParadox
03

3. A complete-feeling bowl

Meat, potato, vegetables and broth sit in one pot. Add rice and the structure of dinner is already there, even on a day when preparing several side dishes is unrealistic.

One-pot mealSatisfyingFamily dinner
04

4. Built for cold days and comfort

Hot broth and gentle chilli warmth make gamjatang especially appealing in cold weather or when you want a substantial soup. Adjust heat and broth intake for your own health needs.

Cold weatherComfort foodWarmth
05

5. Better around a shared table

Gamjatang is naturally social: one pot in the centre, bowls of rice around it. It works for family dinners, small gatherings and events that need an easy, generous main dish.

SharingGatheringEvent food
06

6. Includes a protein food

Pork is a source of protein. The exact amount depends on product weight, the portion eaten and the balance of meat and broth, so use the package label for precise nutrition.

ProteinRecovery mealBalance
07

7. Natural body from connective tissue

Long cooking of bones and connective tissue can release gelatin that gives the broth body. This describes flavour and texture, not a guaranteed medical or cosmetic benefit.

GelatinTexturePork flavour
08

8. Vegetables belong in the same bowl

Dried greens, potato and optional fresh garnishes make the texture and food groups more varied than meat and broth alone. Add extra greens when you want a lighter balance.

09

9. The final fried rice matters

After the main ingredients are eaten, stir rice and seaweed into a modest amount of remaining broth. It becomes a second course and uses the most concentrated flavour wisely.

10. Enjoyment with restraint

Gamjatang broth may be high in sodium and fat. Focus on meat, potato and greens rather than drinking every drop, especially when sodium or calorie intake matters to you.

Sodium awarenessLean meatPortion
Nutrition note: Gamjatang can combine protein, carbohydrate and vegetables in one meal, but actual nutrition varies by production batch, serving size, broth intake and added ingredients. This page provides general food information and is not medical advice for prevention or treatment of disease.
EASY COOKING

Long preparation, two simple steps at home

The official cooking guide is intentionally short. Use one suitable pot, keep an eye on the boil and cook until the potato is fully tender. Select the printed recipe option when available.

Simcook easy cooking guide

Check the package and product instructions first, then follow this simple sequence.

1
Place every component in a pot

Add the cooked pork bones, seasoned broth, dried radish greens and potato. Choose a pot with enough space to prevent the soup boiling over.

2
Cook until the potato is fully tender

Stir once or twice while heating. Turn off the heat when the potato is cooked through. Add perilla leaves, spring onion or extra perilla powder if desired.

Packaging and storage

Protect freshness by checking the cold condition immediately after delivery and following the stated storage period.

Fresh packaging: Vacuum packaging, ice packs and insulated cold packaging are used.
Refrigeration: Refrigerate when eating on the day of delivery or within three days.
Suggested shelf period: The official guidance states three days from receipt when refrigerated.
Event orders: For a meeting or event, plan for delivery before the event and reconfirm the regional schedule.
Important: Contact the seller before eating if the package is damaged or the cold chain appears to have failed. For longer storage, the actual package label and the seller's latest instructions take priority.

FAQ

Common questions before ordering

Clear answers for first-time customers, older shoppers and anyone who prefers practical information before checkout.

How many people does one pack serve?

The official listing suggests approximately 1-1.5 servings. Rice and extra vegetables can extend the meal depending on appetite.

Is it difficult to cook?

No. Place the components in a pot and cook until the potato is completely tender. Follow the package instructions if they differ.

Is it extremely spicy?

Gamjatang has chilli warmth, but perilla and fermented seasoning add nuttiness and depth. Add a small amount of water or extra vegetables if you prefer a gentler taste.

Is it suitable as a hangover soup?

Many people enjoy hot, spicy soup after drinking, but food is not a medical treatment for a hangover. Rehydrate and consider your personal health condition.

How long can I refrigerate it?

The official guidance says three days from receipt under refrigeration. Follow a shorter date if the actual package label specifies one.

Can I order it for a gathering?

Yes. Delivery may take one to two days, so plan for arrival before the event and confirm your area's schedule.

What should I do about allergies?

Contact the seller before ordering and discuss cross-contact risks. Do not eat the product when safety cannot be confirmed.

PRODUCT STORY

A deeper spoonful, made by giving flavour time

Great gamjatang is not only about adding more ingredients. It is about allowing the ingredients enough time to meet and develop inside the broth.

Simcook gamjatang with pork backbone, dried radish greens, potato and perilla seed powder
HALF DAYslow simmered broth
SIMCOOK METHOD

Half a day of simmering, exchanged for a few easy minutes at home

The centre of Simcook Gamjatang is a broth slowly simmered for half a day in a far-infrared cauldron. Instead of forcing flavour with intense heat, the pork bone and seasoning are given time to spread gently through the soup. It is similar to tea: a patient infusion reveals more layers of aroma than a rushed one.

The paradox is useful: the slowest part of the cooking process creates one of the fastest ways to serve dinner. Simcook completes the time-consuming foundation, while you place the ingredients in a pot and cook until the potatoes are tender. It suits cold evenings, a warming soup meal, family dinners and small gatherings.
